Since our inception over two decades ago, SMS has designed and built cutting-edge steam trap technologies for high-impact commercial clients and applications. Today, SMS steam trap technology, systems and services are deemed “best in class” by business leaders and professional engineers alike.

Today, a growing number of customers are choosing SMS’ innovative TECH-FITT® products and components over conventional steam traps that are vulnerable to failure and falling levels of performance over time.

In developing successive generations of steam trap technology, our overarching goal has been to understand and address the conditions facing customers. Our solutions came from experiencing their steam energy plants first-hand and by listening to customers at every level.  The essence of our work lies in converting these insights into technology that benefits our clients and their stakeholders.
